Draft... Lightly hazed amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma is of caramelized grains and mild clove with a touch of overripe banana. Full-bodied and silky with soft carbonation. The flavor is of sweet (but not overly so) medium-roast malts and a spicy, clove phenol. The finish is lengthy, sweet and then it dries out. It’s as it should be, but it’s not my thing. Carefully, thoughtfully crafted. This should go over very well with the abbey ale crowd.
