Dark malt and lightly meaty smoke aromas. Flavors start with a light sweet toasted malt and lead to the "meat" of the brew, a mild smoked and roasted malt taste. Some dark chocolate and brown sugar notes. A light finish and linger with just hints of roasted malt and smoke. Very drinkable smoked brew. Ughsmash (3998), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA

Poured deep, murky brown with a well-retained, short cap of yellowy-tan head. The aroma picked up nicely-roasted sweeter chocolates with airy, liquid smoke accents.. sweet overall and well-balanced. The flavor amped up the smoky impression over sweeter chocolates and molasses.. touches of earth and vanilla surrounded.. lots of smoke and chocolate on the finish. Medium-bodied and dry on the palate with great smoked malt integration.. I’d gladly drink a lot more!
