Pours a clear brownish amber with a creamy off-white head that dissipates quickly to a fine film and ring top with some spotty lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt, a touch of brewers yeast, toffee, roasted nuts and some citrus zest. Taste is medium bodied, well-carbonated with flavors of semi-dry caramel malt, a touch of citrus hop zest, roasted nuts and some toffee. Finish is semi-sweet with a slowly disappearing mild bitterness. Looking at previous ratings from over three years ago, the new brewmaster has made some improvements to this recipe. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 6, 2005 Clear bronze in color with a thin, creamy tan head. Flagrant pils hopping hits the nose first, followed by burlap, lemons, sugared nuts, pitched yeast and dryer sheets. More malt presence in the flavor, bringing out caramel and nut characteristics. Lemony traits tend to sear at the corners with a reminiscence of maple doused walnuts. A little fizzy and a touch off balance. JPDIPSO (4944), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
