This is simmilar to the other beers I had of theirs with the exception of the Cream Ale in that they’re watery. This was served with a pale tan, small head and a bit of lace. Color was dark brown. Aroma was a slightly roasty and sweet malt. Flavor was the same and shallow. Body is thin with sharp carbonation. Bit of dark caramel in the finish. Not a lot there. Bartender said it was a local favorite. Not a session beer. Ughsmash (4091), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA

Poured medium-deep brown with a well-retained tan head. The aroma picked up sweeter roasted black patent and grainy notes, leaving an underattenuated impression. The flavor was sweet again with chocolate, black patent, and lesser coffee present at the core.. roasty finish picked up light earthy bitterness and pine. Medium-bodied and dry on the palate with a grainy feel to it.. OK balance, but the flow was off. Skyview (4097), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 21, 2007 On draught at the brewpub in Reedsburg, Wisconsin as simply "Corner Pub Porter." Pours a nearly opaque dark brown brew with a decent off-white head that has good retention and lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, some roasted nuts, flowery hops and dark bittersweet chocolate. Taste is medium to full bodied, light carbonation, and flavors of sweet dark malt, chocolate dark pitted berries and a touch of coffee. Finish is slightly mild bitter with a dark bread and sour berry aftertaste. Much better than the previous brewmaster’s brew. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 22, 2005 Dark brown color with a medium head. No aroma. Slight coffee and burnt roast taste. Watery body. Oh, here comes the Lysol Patrol again! Can’t have a beer without that wonderful aerosol quality to it! Ugh. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 6, 2005 Opulent chestnut brown in color with some sort of thin tan splotch in the center and on the edges. Aroma of birch, toasty graham crackers and a chocolate confectionary block. Creamy body at first, then slips into a coma of moderation. Cocoa syrup, chocolate morsels and maybe a dash of instant coffee. If I had a dollar for every brewpub stout/porter that tasted exactly like this, I’d be a rich, rich man.
