Lightly hazed golden color with a taller off-white head. Aromas of apricots, mild vanilla, pale toasted malts. Hints of oak and light bourbon in the background. Rather sweet smelling with the fruit and the light bourbon, yet rather interesting. Flavors do seem to mesh with the aromas. Mild peaches and pale malts mingle with pale malts. Mid-swallow brings bourbon, and oak. A return to malt and mild sweetness in the finish. A linger of light bourbon and malts. Complex in some parts and yet simple and sweet in others. Aging this in bottles might really bring out something more interesting than this already is.
