Specially made for the Corner Pub’s annual Halloween party. Sampled cask drawn, straight from the aging keg at the brewpub in downtown Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy milk chocolate brown brew with a decent off-white head that has good retention. Lacing is thick and sticks to the glass throughout. Aroma of roasted dark multi-grain malt, a touch of dark chocolate and some Cascade hops. Taste is smooth, creamy, full bodied, and hardly any carbonation. Flavor has a more dark malt and citrus/piney taste that sticks around. Finish is a little light like a brown ale character brew with a lingering mild bitter aftertaste. An interesting seasoned porter.
