Corner Pub Cream Caramel Ale

This was Corner Pub’s special tapping at 3:30. Served on cask via firkin at the Wisconsin Micro-brewers Beerfest in Chilton, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy caramel amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates clean. Aroma of light caramel malt, some vanilla, toffee and sweet sugared cream. Taste is medium to full bodied, thick with flavors of caramel malt, toffee some cotton candy and just a touch of butterscotch. Finish is smooth, creamy with a semi-sweet caramel and toffee aftertaste that slowly disappears after the finish. Most as much caramel flavors but a terrific sweet sipping beer.
