Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear dark amber-copper color with a medium thin and creamy off-white head that dissipates steadily. Top ring of lacing with spots underneath. Aroma of caramel and toasted malt, with a touch of hops. Medium, smooth body with a sweet caramel malt character. Hints of roasted nuts and hops as well. The finish is sweet toasted malt with a lingering malty aftertaste. Above average overall.

Clear copper body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, light toasted, chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, earthy, light chocolate, low bitterness. Light body with some crispness.

Reddish body with a slightly off white head. Textbook malty aromas with hints of cookies and bread. Carmel on the palate. Only real knock is that it might need to be a little less sweet. Nice.

On tap @ Cornerstone: Lasting large creamy light beige head. Medium amberish body. Light grainy roasted & toasty malt aroma, clean otherwise. Grainy & toasted malt flavor. Finish is dry & toasted malt as is the aftertaste. Very little roast in the flavor. Pretty clean of fruitiness or other off flavors. Fuller light body, soft medium cabonation, & creamy m/f. Overall a pretty good amber lager. Clean, but a little thin in overall flavor.

Another one from here that had a hop bite to it, and well didn’t taste good at all.
