brentfeesh (896), Gadsden, Alabama, USA Jul 19, 2008 Enjoyed at the brewpub in 10oz brandy glass. Comes brownish and hazy with a creamy long lasting head and lots of little carbonation. Sweet aroma with noticeable sherry like alcohol and some sweet grain. The flavor is very solid, if just a bit hot. Sweet but not cloying with fruit and candy, grain & wheat flavors take a back seat but are supportive of the whole. Very nice blend of flavors. Slick mouth feel. Great job on this one. aracauna (2238), Georgia, USA Jul 16, 2008 Big rich hops and apricot arome. Frothy head. A little toffee and butter in the flavor. Really tasty. Dogbrick (2209), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jun 22, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a mostly clear amber-orange color with a medium thin off-white head that burns away slowly. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma is fruity with hints of spice and yeast. Medium-bodied with an interesting fruit character (citrus, apricot). Flavors of wheat and earthy malt along with hint of spice as well. The finish is fruity and spicy with a tart fruit aftertaste. Overall this is an interesting and difficult to categorize beer that was definitely my favorite on the visit.
