It is very weak on taste and has a very skunky aroma (more so than Miller High Life, which is famous for skunkiness). I can think of SIX Mexican Beers that are better than this swill. Truthfully, a slice of lime doesn’t help much.

| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Dec 28, 2009 Bottle. Thin, watery, and generally flavorless (unless you count "skunk" as a flavor). Highly overrated / overmarketed. Maybe it takes you to the beach mentally in the dead of winter, but I’d rather drink the melted ice at the bottom of the cooler (ok, slight exaggeration, but you get the point). gmanbeer (5), Petaluma, California, USA does not count | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Dec 28, 2009 Pours a pale yellow with moderate carbonation. Medium white head that dissapates very quickly. Light aroma of corn, none of the skunkiness others mentioned. Tastes lightly of corn and citrus (no lime or citrus was added) and very thin on the palate. I like corona, especially on those scorching summer days. I mean after all it is a pale lager kahrboy (2), Alabama, USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 27, 2009 If it has not been ruined by hot/ cold handling, I like the sulpher back taste when balanced with the acid/sweet of the lime.
Good beach beer. mcbeyond (45), Newport Beach, California, USA

And the price they pay. Just about any Mexican beer I can think of is better than Corona, including Tecate and Pacifico. This beer tastes the same going in as it smells coming out if you know what I mean. Nothing worse than opening the cooler and seeing that everything there is Corona. Lime wedge? Yes please! dinnersd (2), Australia does not count | 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Dec 22, 2009 MAHAHA..EMBARASSING BEER.
