Apr 15, 2007 On tap at the 10th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Festival: Pours a slightly hazy golden bronze with a small, wispy-lacing, frothy white head. Lightly peppery earthy citrus hopped aroma. Body starts sweet and sugary with a lot of candy flavor and fruity esters turning into warming alcohol and some citrusy bittering hops. Unbalanced and somewhat thin for the style.

Feb 6, 2007 10th Annual SD Strong Ale Fest: Very hazy copper color with a medium sized off-white head. The malt aroma was on the light side. Light notes of lemon and citrus with some alcohol present . Earthy hops peeked out as well. Sweet malty flavor. The bitterness is mild. Decent alcohol warmth but can taste some of it as well. Hop flavor shows on the finish. Silky mouthfeel.
