Where the appearance is wonderful, the flavor and aroma is just above mediocre. Burnt, roasted nose with coffee. The flavor is much the same, adding some hints of dried fruits. Full-bodied and dry. It’s a nice beer, but a bit too one-tracked for my likings. 090821
