A light malt and very good hoppy finish. Carbonation is ok but this beer is a bit thin. A good crisp clean drinker. Very satisfying. jcwattsrugger (5449), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2007 Draft at brewpub. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate malty citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. Good, but not a standout. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 5, 2006 (Draft: Coronado Brewing Co. in Coronado, CA) And up last for today is the brewpub standard, their pale ale. Smallish, bubbly head is off-white in color and sits atop a hazy, dark-golden body. The nose is that of a generic pale, grainy maltiness, with light citrus but only a hint of classic hop aroma. Citrusy, grainy pale malts, mildly sweet. The hops are mild too, but because the malts are even lighter, the hoppy bitterness lends a nice balance. Light-medium bodied, crisp, somewhat clean, average carbonation. Yawn, another boring, generic brewpub beer with no character. Hairofthedog (419), San Diego, California, USA

The beer poured a clear orange/yellow color w/ no head or lace. The flavor had caramel, malts, citrus, and a hint of grapefruits. The mouthfeel was light and crisp. | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 23, 2006 Draft at brewery in Coronado, CA: Bronze, nose of musky spoiled hops, rancid. The flavor is old and chewy with a flat and dull crap taste on the palate. Awful.
