On tap at the brewpub. Gold in color with a flowery aroma. Sweet flavor. Smoother and lacks the hoppiness of the Island Pale Ale. Great balance and a drinkable session beer.

On tap @ Coronado. Poured a medium orange color with a small head. Aromas and tastes of ctirus and light malts (caramel). OK balance.

On tap at a fish taco joint in San Diego ( I can’t recall the name). Served a bit on the heavily chilled side. Nothing too exciting. Amber in color. A faint malt aroma in the nose. Light to medium bodied and kind of smooth on the palate. Mostly malt, caramel flavors with a mild hoppiness. I’d like to give this one another chance sometime.

Slightly hazed amber hue. Clean malty flavor, light biscuit and moderately bitter hop bite in the finish.

Orange/brown color with virtually no head and slightly hazy. Aroma and flavor is very piney with some citrus. Body is typical of an APA, with a medium dry finish.

(tap) The best of the Coronados imo. I was told this beer still needed a few more days until it reached its full flavor. If so, I can only imagine how good this will be then. Wonderful hoppy flavor, nice aroma.
