| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 18, 2009 Pours beautiful pale gold, transparent, with light/thin white head. Nose is tepid with faint malt, light fruits, and slightly metallic.
Light bodied on the palate, gentle malt, light Saaz hop to balance, but overall is just a light, easy drinking beer.
Fine alternative to non-craft "macros" that are also pale. Might be a good gateway beer. hellbilly (1566), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA

golden yellow and crystal clear with a soapy white head.
the nose is of dirty earthy hops with some orange and mild pine.
the flavor is a touch mild... faint would work as well. it is an easy drinking mix of milk/lactose, earthy hops, a bit of woodiness, pale maltiness and a dry somewhat hoppy finish.
the medium body has a creamy milk-like texture and a dry, prickly, hoppy mouth feel.
i could put a lot of these away if there weren’t 30 more to choose from... 5/3/6/4/13/3.1 Sparky27 (1641), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 30, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a 2 finger fluffy white head that leaves splotchy lacing. The nose is malt and earthy hops. The taste is sweet malt, light fruit and even lighter hops. Light-to-medium body. Easy drinker but pretty boring, even for the style. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 14, 2009 Pours golden with a tall head that recedes rather quickly leaving behind a lingering creamy ring and an island in the middle. Aromas of biscuits and a brisk grainy essence seeps forward. Medium nectar with ample residual effers. The texture is slightly creamy. Flavorwise this brew is rather subtle. It has a nice biscuit essence to follow the nose sprinkled with brisk acidity with defined hop bittering on the finish. A flavorful ale the good attributes. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 2, 2009 Large bright white head of varying sized bubbles. Good carbonation. Light apple and pear aromas with some grains and sweet malts. Color is a clear medium gold. Light crisp flavor. Very lively in the mouth with some cereal grains, light malts, some lemon grass and light bitter hops. Nice hops presence yet light and refreshing. Finishes slightly bitter and dry with some lingering lemon and spices. A decent summer brew. DSG (1515), Tel Aviv, Israel
