Commercial Description:
This golden colored ale is smooth, light in flavor, and still retains a slight crispness in its finish, very similar to a European-style pilsner. Our Coronado Golden is delicately hopped with Czechoslovakian Saaz hops, traditionally used in making the classic pilsner. It is our most popular beer at our restaurant and considered our gateway beer into the micro-brew world.

22oz bomber-A light golden body with a medium white head which has an aroma of a pale lager. Taste of the same with a little more malt.

Bomber. Light aroma of sweet fruit and noble hop. Light pale gold color with a fine white head. It looks like a pale lager. Medium bodied; near creamy carbonation. It is pilsener hop bitter, and there is light fruity flavor. It seems well balanced, but it’s very different. The finish is not quite dry, and it has a very nice amount of bitter. Got a hit of heat at the end. It may not be exciting, but it is very interesting and drinkable.

650 mL bottle. Hazy yellow with fluffy white head. Aroma yeasty with a hint of banana and perhaps citrus. Bright and lively palate. Taste is a little too weak and watery, but there are some notes of fruit and a little spice with a clean finish. Nothing particularly exciting about this one.

Grassy golden ale. Pours a light yellow, thin head. Wheaty middle and a rather flat finish.

A very uninspired average golden ale. More like a pilsner, but the usual crisp bitterness that comes with a pilsner was unpleasant. It was also quite carbonated. A little bready maltiness, but that was it. Unenjoyable.

22 oz bomber. Very pale golden beer with a white head. Arom ais of fresh bready malt, a bit of honey and even a touch of wheaty character. Hop aroma is very low. Flavour is a bit sweet but does show nice fresh breadiness. It’s not going to win any awards but it’s a nice lawnmower type of brew.

Draft at brewpub. Poured golden color with a moderate frothy white head that diminished slowly with minimal lacing. Light sweet aroma. Light to medium body with a thin texture. Light sweet citrus flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration.

Kind of a cloudy golden color with some good spices. Taste is pretty dry like a pilsener. Really, I liked this much more than their Red and was pretty pleased overall with it.
