Commercial Description:
This golden colored ale is smooth, light in flavor, and still retains a slight crispness in its finish, very similar to a European-style pilsner. Our Coronado Golden is delicately hopped with Czechoslovakian Saaz hops, traditionally used in making the classic pilsner. It is our most popular beer at our restaurant and considered our gateway beer into the micro-brew world.

Small foamy white head, golden yellow color. Some graininess in the aroma. Slightly malty, with a sweet twang and a grassy slightly herbal hop presence, particularly in the finish.. Mouthfeel is light and crisp.

its a little bit corny and a little bit rock and gold....thats what they were saying anyway. poured golden tan clear with off white head. no real nose, slight malt character. slight malt crack sweetness to the palate and maybe some spicy hops kicking the backe door. thin and uninteresting. probably the way they want it.

This beer poured a light orange / yellow w/ slight head and minor lacing. The aroma was malty and sweet w/ light citrus and flowers. The flavor was the same w/ a definate hint of honey. The mouthfeel was light and carbonated.

Pours a golden yellow hue with a small white head. Aromas of straw, and a little sweetness. Flavors of the same, but with no depth.

On tap @ Coronado. Poured a clear, medium orange color with a small white head. No real aromas and tastes stood out. Maybe some citrus.

Bottled. Clear golden. Sweet and appley. Rounded and honeyish with slightly salty finish. Too sweet to be refreshing.
