On tap at Beachwood in Seal Beach, Calif. Wonderfully big aroma. Flavors were outstanding fruit mixed with classic Belgian yeast aftertaste. Marvelous beer.

Pour a cloudy amber orange with a white head. aroma is of pine, grapefruit, apricot, and belgian malt and yeast. flavor is hoppy at first with a lot of pine, cedar, grapfruit, tropical fruits, apricot, and then you taste the belgian yeast and malt. mouthfeel is thick and the alchool well hidden. overall, a very unqiue and tasty DIPA.

On tap at Brew co. Hazy amber orange. Nose is hops and Belgian yeast. Taste is same. Interesting mix of two powerful beer tastes. Kinda worked, kinda didn’t.

Golden-orange in colour with a long lasting medium sized white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is very hoppy, lots of pine, cedar, grapefruit citrus, pineapple, quite tropical. The flavour is of grapefruit upfront, lots of citrus, big and chewy, some spice and a bit of alcohol. Very hoppy mouthfeel, medium/large body, high carbonation. Finishes long, hoppy and moderately bitter.

Pretty damn good. This did not have the alcoholic blast that I come to expect from other douple ipa beers. Instead this had an excellent blend of citrus and tropical fruits.

<i>650ml bottle obtained in a trade with TheCheeseMan, thanks Dan.

Bottle courtesy of Dunk poured into a pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a small and short-lived white head that recedes to a small ring quickly and leaves almost no lacing. The aroma has no doubt lost some of its hop character as the sweetness of the malts and light fruit dominate with only a bit citrus in there on top of some healthy Belgian yeast presence. The taste is also very sweet up front with lots of apricots and pears with strong Belgian yeast characteristics as well. As in the aroma, the hops have died down a good bit in the taste. The mouthfeel is slick with decent carbonation and leaves lots of sweetness on the palate. This is a decent and very drinkable Belgian IPA, though I really think it would be better fresh as the hops have faded a bit. As it is, this is a light and fruity take on a Belgian IPA.

Getting notebook online. Bottle. Pours a straw gold. Lots of Belgium yeast on the nose. Good hop flavors, with grapefruit flavors. Yeast flavors a little to strong for my liking but that’s the style. Decent beer.
