This unfiltered IPA is combined with a unique blend of European grains, a variety of hops, and Belgian yeast to create a lasting and unforgettable taste to it’s very bitter end. Coronado’s Hoppy Daze is definitely a one-of-a-kind-type of beer, especially considering the fact that we’re classifying it as an impy IPA. I would go more with a Belgian Strong or American Strong Ale, because this is a flavorful and unique combination of a Belgian tripel and an IPA. The beers a hazy golden color with a small but lacy beige head. The nose is a combination of fruits, citrus, bread, candi sugar, hops, grass, lemon and orange peel. The body is fairly light but drinkable. The flavors contain a lively and carbonted zing, with notes of floral hops, bread, oranges, pine, wild yeast and grapes. The alcohol level is extremely well-hidden. This beer would really creep up on you, without any warning, after two or three. The finish is really interesting. This beer leaves a bit of a sweet and sour note, combined with a spicy and bitter hoppy tone. This is definitely one unique and interesting beer.

Now this is a unique brew. Aroma was hoppy, a mellow sweetness, and actually a very, very slight skunkiness. Classic looking brew when poured. Light amber with a thick foam head. A strange combination of malts and hops makes for an unusual brew. Pleasantly sweet and bitter, with the bike of an IPA. Pretty pricey but good for an occassional treat.

22 oz bottle. Almost clear pale orange with a splotchy white head. Nose is orange, caramel and fresh cut pine. Crisp and juicy medium light. Taste is tangerine, honeydew and grapefruit pith. Peppery finish with resin. Very tasty.

Sampled from 22-oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden pale yellow colored beer with a thick off-white head that has some nice retention. Aroma of tropical fruit, some citrus and floral hops, a touch of foot socks, and sour pineapple. Taste is medium to full bodied, flavors of spicy citrus, toasted biscuits, vanilla, some multi-grain malt and a touch of candi sugar. Finish is slightly sweet with some tropical fruit aftertaste with bitterness that slowly disappears.

Tap at Capones. Pours a hazy golden with a creamy lacing white head. Aroma was a handful of fresh American hops. Mixed citrus, floral and pine. Some caramel and bready malts. Flavor of the same. One heck if a great IPA.

Bottle Pours a cloudy dark tan with a good white head. The head lasts well and laces excellently. Has a good hoppy aroma of pine, sour citrus, and a touch of alcohol. Has a good carbonation. The flavor is more mild than the aroma would lead you to believe. Has a good cleaniness too it. Has a good amount of bitter hops. Blended well, and the alcohol is very well hidden. Has a resiny texture. A medium body. A real good finish with a hearty aftertaste. This is a real tasty DIPA. I like it.

Bomber! Pours a hazy amber orange body with a thin bubbly head. Huge grassy vanilla spicy pine and fresh herbal hoppiness. Big and grassy with some sharp hop resins a bit like kb and sticky, sharp vine like sappiness and a light soil like mineralization. Moderate warming with more grassy hemp/bud like dryness. Wow what a beer.
