I thought the finish would be a bit more bitter because of the cascade hops.....a great brew. JoeMcPhee (5030), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 17, 2007 Deep golden orange, rich and fairly earthy aroma. Sweet orange, pale malt, grassy and herbal aroma. Light aromatics. Fairly vineous as well. Light tangerine, pine, and a hint of floral character. Soft bitterness. OK, but I prefer the Islander. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 15, 2007 Bomber pours a deep gold with inch and a half big bubbled off white head. The aroma has a nice load of malt sweetness backed up by an even bigger grapefruit hop note. Just like the aroma a tasty combination of sweet maltiness and both grapefruit hop bitterness and flavor enter all at once. Toward the finish a sweeter orange juice hop flavor stands out and into the after taste the bitterness builds and lingers. There’s a slight sense of the 8.5% ABV. Zinister (1207), Houston, Texas, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 10, 2007 Bottle. Lots of grapefruit and citrus hop aroma with this one. The flavor is somewhat tropical, somewhat pulpy, and some grainy malt undertones. Decent for the style. moejuck (1172), Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 2, 2007 Bottle from SDbruboy. Golden body with a medium head. The aroma is big time citrus hops--really big and ominous. The taste is very bitter up front with caramel malt in the background. Very citrusy flavor overall. That’s right up my alley, so I liked this one pretty well. zathrus13 (1314), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA
