Commercial Description:
Brewed with 8 different hops and dry hopped with whole cone cascades. Its more powerful than our Islander IPA and even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!

22oz bottle from Bevmo Carmel mtn. Big nose of citrus and pine. I thought the finish would be a bit more bitter because of the cascade hops.....a great brew.

Deep golden orange, rich and fairly earthy aroma. Sweet orange, pale malt, grassy and herbal aroma. Light aromatics. Fairly vineous as well. Light tangerine, pine, and a hint of floral character. Soft bitterness. OK, but I prefer the Islander.

Bomber pours a deep gold with inch and a half big bubbled off white head. The aroma has a nice load of malt sweetness backed up by an even bigger grapefruit hop note. Just like the aroma a tasty combination of sweet maltiness and both grapefruit hop bitterness and flavor enter all at once. Toward the finish a sweeter orange juice hop flavor stands out and into the after taste the bitterness builds and lingers. There’s a slight sense of the 8.5% ABV.

Bomber. Thick nose of grapefruit, citrus and oddly, sweet soap. Flavor is peppery hops, grapefruit peel and malt. Nice bittering finish.

Bottle. Lots of grapefruit and citrus hop aroma with this one. The flavor is somewhat tropical, somewhat pulpy, and some grainy malt undertones. Decent for the style.

Bottle from SDbruboy. Golden body with a medium head. The aroma is big time citrus hops--really big and ominous. The taste is very bitter up front with caramel malt in the background. Very citrusy flavor overall. That’s right up my alley, so I liked this one pretty well.

Pours gold, with an off white head. Aroma is hop dominated, with malt and caramel, too. Flavor is hops, sugar, and citrus fruit. Ends bitter.

GABF 2007: Poured a bright gold color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was dominated by tangerine and citrus hops notes. The flavor was pretty one dimensional with it mainly grapefruit juice. Medium body.
