Feb 14, 2009 Oh where Oh where have my scribbled notes gone, oh where oh where can they be? At least this is a memorable beer. Someone out here has surely made a 1.5PA and if not, perhaps this is it. A balance that has the west coast slant I love. I could probably drink this until I fell over.

Feb 9, 2009 A- Pours a clear, golden/orange hue with two fingers of creamy, white head that is mostly diminishing, excellent lacing
S- Nose is well-balanced with citrus and floral hops, pine resin, and sweet malts
T- Initial taste is dominated by grapefruit and other citrus, followed by some sweet malts and ending with a long-lasting citrus bitterness
M- Medium-bodied with adequate carbonation, coats the tongue with subtle alcohol warming
D- 8%abv is well-masked but could build up over time, this is a wonderful ale in between IPA/DIPA status that is hopped up but well-balanced and extremely delicious

Feb 1, 2009 Orange/gold color pour. Strong hoppiness, sweet caramel, pine needles, orange peel, and grass. It’s a nice brew, worth getting.

Hazy golden color; big head. The strong hop aroma is resiny and a bit fruity, piney. Good toffee flavor, dry mouthfeel, because of an extreme hopping, very resiny and piney. Very good.

Nov 21, 2008 Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw and hops. The flavor is sweet matly with notes of grass, hops, and fruit. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Nov 3, 2008 RB US-CA#300: 22 fl oz bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Dense hoppy and peachy aroma, classic So-Cal and inviting. Smooth and fruity to a light bitterness in the flavour. Dry apricot note and dry yet also fruity hoppy flavoured. Hoppy and dry malty into the finish. Smooth.

Oct 31, 2008 22oz bottle. Acquired in trade. The pour is a nice amber orange with a thin layer of white lace on top of the beer and on the glass. Aroma is fresh resiny hops. That’s all I smell. Very fresh and the taste was what I was hoping. Really satisfying biting hops up front, then lightly sweet malts followed up by the bitter bite on the sides of my tongue. This beer is chuggably good.
