| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 31, 2008 Bottle. [Tasting session @ Papsoe, 31-10-2008] Huge thick creamy head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Hazy golden color. Aroma of grapefruit, apricot, floral, grass, caramel, grain. Over the palate came almost herbal, grapefruit, sweet fruit mix. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Moderated sweet and bitter flavor. Lingering dry bitter finish. bhensonb (4380), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 29, 2008 Bomber from South Bay Drug. Slightly hazy copper color with a white head that didn’t stand up for long. Very fruity aromas. Not at all resiny. Slight aroma of caramel backing. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is a little piney, perhaps, but I think it is mostly floral. A little bit tart. It’s not really bitter. Astringent seems more appropriate. My mouth is sort of shrinking from all the hop. This drinks really well. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 25, 2008 Courtesy TheCheeseman. Deep orange color, thin white head. Fruity hop character, pineapple and citrus, mild malts underneath. Moderate hop notes, good malt base, mild lingering finish. Decent IPA that stays just short of astringency. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 20, 2008 About a 1 inch thick head of fine bubbles. Very dense for an IPA. Wonderful aroma. Loads of mandarin oranges, piney hops, light caramel malts and some juicy citrus fruit. Color is a clear bright orange. Wow, alcohol hits you smack in the face from the first sip. Loads of piney resinous hops, toasted malts, more oranges (bitter) and some acidic notes. Finishes strong bitterness and hot. I am surprise how strong the alcohol presence is in this brew for only 8.5%. Good body and a nice oily palate. A very good IIPA.
Thanks to Snojerk321 for this nice brew. egajdzis (3640), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 19, 2008 Poured a hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, floral/resiny hops, citrus fruits, caramel malts, light toast. Taste of much of the same, some resiny pine, citrus, toast, toffee, and a sharp, grapefruit bitterness in the finish. A bit of alcohol as well. A bit more bitter than I’d like in a IIPA, thanks to Josh for sharing! TomDecapolis (3217), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of sweet citrus notes, light pine, caramel, resinous hops. Flavor of piney resiney hops, orange peel, caramel, bready, loads of great hop flavor. hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 5, 2008 Bottle... Clear amber ale with a large, frothy, off-white head. Terrific retention. Notes of Mandarin orange and honey layered upon an undertone of spicy, citrusy, herbal hops. Full-bodied and very creamy with lazy carbonation. Big time toffee backbone works magic with resiny hop bitterness. Finishes gently acidic and moderately bitter with a dash of salt. BOLTZ7555 (1121), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 15, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Sparky27. Nice 24 karat pour with lively carbonation and a fluffy white head. Aroma is juicy grapefruit and freshly pruned flowers. More malty than other IIPA’s...but still taste the bright citrus and pine. A bit watery but good. THANKS ERIC!!!
