A fairly basic understated IPA. Good color and mouthfeel with a traditional dry finish. Aroma is plesantly hoppy. Not my favorite IPA, but a decent beer. Sampled at 2009 LA Craft Beer Fest.

bottle poured a golden amber color with a thick one finger off white head that left a nice layer. aroma has sweet citrus hops, pine, pineapple, grapefruit, malt, and light yeast. average mouth feel with lower carbonation. flavor has plenty of hop character, grapefruit, pineapple, pine, and lighter bitterness. enough malt to carry this with higher sweetness. finish has lingering hops and light perfume alcohol. nice and smooth with a good balance of citrus and bitterness.

Poured from bomber a nice medium dark amber, slightly orange hue, formed huge rocky foam head. Aroma of tropical floral tones, hops and sweet malted yeast. Flavour was full bodied, sticky up front with a balanced hop bitterness and sweet malted grapefruits. Extremely quaffable, and at 7%, could be dangerous, yet enjoyable at the same time. Wish I had a cask of this at my next BBQ party.

Bottle from spark-dog-27! Nice golden red color with a good fluffy white head. Solid aroma of pine and citrus hops. Taste is very clean and crisp. Nice hop bitterness to it but well balanced. Light and easy to drink. Easy to drink. Another solid west coast IPA. Thanks E for this very tasty brew!

Juicy IPA - loved it. Pours medium amber with slight haze, contrasting off-white head that retains well. Nose is ripe with grapefruit, light pine, and orange wedges. On the palate there’s a biscuity sweet malt that dances well with the balancing hops that are somewhat metallic, grapefruity, and pleasantly sharp. Finish is sharp and hoppy, in a very good way. This is one juicy IPA!
