An excellent example of a higher alcohol IPA great citrus hop nose and perfect crispness on the finish. I could drink this brew all day long. The pour is clear and has a nice head retention. The color is a wonderful Deep Gold. The nose is that of citrusy hops and a slight hint of spruce. The flavor is extensive hops with just enough maltiness to balance out the flavor profile and spare the palate. The mouthfeel is rich and creamy. A very tasty IPA!! lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 1, 2008 Pours a mild hazed amber color with a medium lived light beige head. Smell is fruity, piney, and hoppy, and not over the top. Some nice fruity malt character too. Taste is crisply bitter with nice pine and citrus hop flavors. Good maltiness to balance but still plenty hoppy. Full bodied with nice refreshing carbonation. Awesome drinkability and a fantastic, underrated IPA, I thought. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Good fruity, Simcoe aroma, some sweat, medicinal. Toffee flavor, the strong hopping brings it on the dry side; quite resiny and fruity, bitter orange peel, digestive. Strong, powerful, long final. An excellent hop bomb. yemenmocha (421), Glendale, Arizona, USA

Pours medium amber with slight haze, contrasting off-white head that retains well.
Nose is ripe with grapefruit, light pine, and orange wedges. On the palate there’s a biscuity sweet malt that dances well with the balancing hops that are somewhat metallic, grapefruity, and pleasantly sharp.
Finish is sharp and hoppy, in a very good way. This is one juicy IPA! pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Thick glowing amber with a solid white head and some moderate lacing. Smell is nice and floral and spring-like. Flavor is hoppy with a great little citris bite and a following yummy sweetness. Nice and smooth mouthfeel. Would surely have again! BOLTZ7555 (1107), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

This was a great beer on tap, honestly a favorite of the event. Very aggressive, more IIPA than single, with juicy grapefruit, ripe oranges, lemon zest, and every other sticky type of citrus available. Vibrant gold with hints of fire engine red rippling through it. Floral hops and biting pine...wow!!! ghawener (964), San Salvador, El Salvador
