Sep 2, 2008 Pretty decent lemon fruit aroma with some wheat. Pretty wheaty beer, but it’s not too bad. It actually has some flavor to it. Okay.

Aug 22, 2008 Draft... RBSG ‘08... Hazy deep yellow ale with a small, fluffy, off-white head. Subtle, lightly citric American wheat aroma... refreshing and tantalizing. Medium-bodied and mildly creamy with dancing carbonation. Adequately bittered and citric. Finishes a bit grainy, a touch tart and then dry. There’s nothing traditional or German about this hefe. Refreshing and very drinkable.

May 30, 2008 On tap @ the brewery. A cloudy golden orange pour with little head retention. Weak aromas of citrus and yeast, not the best hefe.

Feb 17, 2008 Had this on tap at the Coronado Brewing Company. Pours a hazy, light golden color with particles, very small head. Smells like citrus, cloves and wheat. Tastes pretty much the same... wheat, citrus, slightly bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light and kind of creamy, probably from the unfiltered yeast particles. It’s not bad, but doesn’t really distinguish itself from other beers of this variety.

Jan 31, 2008 On tap at cbc. Super hazed yellow pour with slight white head and lace. Nose of a very light corrinader, bannana, and light clove. Very flat flavor of light light corriander and almost no fruit. Carbonation was ok but it was thin and watery. Over all a decent weizen just too thin.

Jan 18, 2008 on tap-pours an off white head and cloudy yellow color. Aroma is clove/banana/cantaloupe. Taste is light malt/wheat, clove/banana/cantaloupe, secondary light metallic hops. Occasional.

Nov 15, 2007 Bomber poured a cloudsy golden amber with a lasting off white head. Aromas of fruiutiness, wheat and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, wheat, light spice and a faint hint of spice with a crisp slightly dry finish. Drinkable but a far cry from a German Hefe in my opinion.
