Dec 1, 2004 On tap @ Coronado. What do you think they did - served it with a lemon slice! Poured a hazy, pale golden color with a small head. Aromas and tastes of Lemon (duh) and lighter spices. Fizzy body.

Jan 18, 2008 on tap-pours an off white head and cloudy yellow color. Aroma is clove/banana/cantaloupe. Taste is light malt/wheat, clove/banana/cantaloupe, secondary light metallic hops. Occasional.

Aug 22, 2008 Draft... RBSG ‘08... Hazy deep yellow ale with a small, fluffy, off-white head. Subtle, lightly citric American wheat aroma... refreshing and tantalizing. Medium-bodied and mildly creamy with dancing carbonation. Adequately bittered and citric. Finishes a bit grainy, a touch tart and then dry. There’s nothing traditional or German about this hefe. Refreshing and very drinkable.

Mar 23, 2006 Draft at brewery in Coronado, CA: No head, chunky brownish orange. Nose if light of wheat and lemon wedge, no esters. The flavor is a bit sweet and fat. The finish is lacking. The body is there, but it doesn’t complement anything. What I said before...

Feb 11, 2007 Draft at Manchester Grand Hotel, SD,CA. Poured hazy amber color with an average fizzy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Moderate banana citrus wheat aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet spicy finish of moderate duration. My expectations where not met.

Nov 15, 2007 Bomber poured a cloudsy golden amber with a lasting off white head. Aromas of fruiutiness, wheat and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, wheat, light spice and a faint hint of spice with a crisp slightly dry finish. Drinkable but a far cry from a German Hefe in my opinion.

Apr 12, 2005 On tap at the brewpub. Not much here. Dark gold, almost amber in color. Cloudy, but not full of yeast. No banana esters to discern. Weak hop aroma. A lousy beer.
