Wheat, spice, yeast, and light citrus lingers. kflorence (93), San Diego, California, USA Feb 17, 2008 On tap at the Coronado Brewing Company (official title is Lime Lite). Smells very much like lime, with some hints of spice and wheat. It’s a cloudy golden color with particles and a small amount of head. Very interesting flavor to this beer because of the use of lime instead of oranges, don’t need the extra lime they give you, just enjoy the beer as it is. It’s light and tangy with a very nice lime aftertaste. I think this would go great with chicken or fish. Seahandler (11), San Diego, California, USA Jul 10, 2007 Cask Conditioned at the Pizza Port Real Ale Fest. Spice aroma not overpowering. Not one spice is dominent in the flavor. Golden and Cloudy. Wish the color could be a little lighter (more wheat)? Lime Zest, Chamomile and Coriander. Unconventional ingredients and conditioning. Would be great with fresh Yellowtail Ceviche. Bartzilla (441), San Diego, California, USA Jun 19, 2007 On tap @ Hamilton’s. Pretty tasty. Your average wit. Subtly sweet with lots of fruity tones. Easy drinking and please, leave the god damned fruit wedge out. Thanks.
