Pour is red, copper, golden, slightly hazed with a two inch thick off white head. Nice splotchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of bitter sweet citrus and resin hops, behind that grainy malt. Nice fresh nose, though it could be more assertive, its pretty faint. Taste is bitter resin slight floral hops with a toasted burnt sweet caramel malt backbone. Nice balance between the hops and malt. Palate is medium, nice active carbonation with a crisp bitter finish. Bit of mineral in the finish. Nice tasty beer, thanks Eric. fonefan (11525), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 3, 2009 Reminds me of Whitbread in many respects. Pours very dark red to brown with nice contrastng head. Nose has a ripe fruit component with malt. Palate offers sweet malty base with balancing hops, reminding me of cherry cough drops. Medium bodied. Refreshing.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 14, 2009 Pours a dark brownish red with a fluffy light brown head. Aroma is caramel, malt and a good dose of hops. Flavor is caramel, lots of hops, and enough malt to balance it out. Slightly nutty and earty with some lingering spices that compliment it’s bitter finish. For an amber ale this is rockin, really digging the hop / flavor profile. Atypical of the style but it’s very welcome in my house. GreatLibations (1444), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Mar 14, 2009 Pours quite dark with a decent head that leaves quickly like a scorned woman and leaves in her wake a tattered bubbly lace. Malty aromas make their way forward with a touch of spicy hop. Full nectar with creamy residual effers feels good going down. I almost want to chew it. A solid malt backbone with a fist full of hop essence to balance make this a fine specimen indeed. The finish lingers and bitters to a fine tune. Good beer guys! | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 9, 2009 A- Pours a dark and opaque amber hue with a huge, craggy white head that is mostly sustaining, tons of thick lacing throughout
S- Nose is dominated by caramel malt aromas, some sweet hops and a hint of sugary bubblegum, breads and yeast far in the background
T- Wow, great taste is characterized initially by sweet bread and caramel malts that are not too cloying, in the middle comes some citrus and pine hops, and finishing with a subtle dry bitterness that sticks around for a few seconds
M- Medium-bodied amber ale, smooth and slick texture with an ideal amount of carbonation
D- Label states 5.7%abv which is well-masked, this is one high quality amber that is in my session beer range, the Coronado brewers have done a great job with this revised recipe and I would put this at the top of my Amber List DSG (1513), Tel Aviv, Israel
