On tap at Coronado Brewing Co. Thin fingers. Dark pour, a bit flat, weak aroma, below average brown ale. It was ok.

Draft at CBC. Dark brown (like strong coffee) with thin head, but great lacing. No aroma. Fairly nice hop flavoring.

Draft at Brewery. Not much Aroma or Flavor in this one either. Dark brown color with no head. Slight hints of nuts and butterscotch. Finishes metalic and mildly bitter, not much more to write about...

Draft at brewery in Coronado, CA: Brownish strained wood color, nose of nothing. Just a bit of nutty caramel. The flavor is bland, dry, metallic. Finishes watery, thin. Wow, this sucks.

(Draft: O’Brien’s in San Diego, CA) Coronado’s attempt at a nut brown ale, and it’s okay, but not especially memorable. Mildly sweet, malty, nutty, with a bit of tartness in the finish. Not a whole lot of hops or bitterness in this beer, which isn’t a knock on the beer, just an observation. Lightly malty and nutty nose is pleasant. Medium bodied. Small tan head tops the medium brown body, but dissipates rapidly down to the tiniest of rings. Isn’t bad, but not something I’m likely to order again in the future.
