I don’t remember much about this one, other than it had some faint orange notes in the aroma and the flavor profile. Fairly light in mouthfeel. Sampled at 2009 LA Craft Beer Fest.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy straw hue, modest layer of white soapy foam. Nose is orange, citrus, honey, floral aromas. Taste is sweet fruits, zest, and light spices, honey and wheat character fill out the profile (almost mead-like in its honey consistency), finishes sweet. Thin texture and light-medium body, medium carbonation. A refreshing and flavorful fruit beer that borders on the mead style; the zest, honey, and floral components could be too much for some and does limit drinkability.

This one beats Orange Blossom but just by a hair. Pretty disgusting. Murky tangering body with a small ivory head that left small clumps on the inside of the glass. Fairly mild aroma with light citrus rind, herbs, and caramel malt. Not very hoppy...thin...pass this one by!!!

Bomber courtesy of BOLT7555 – thanks J! Pours a hazy orange with a one finger stark white head that results in spotty lacing. The nose is very wheat beer-like with sour wheat, spice and yeast. The taste is much the same with some orange peel in the finish. Medium bodied. Strange brew.

On tap at San Diego Brewing: My original rating of this beer would have been the same or even less of a score but I was able to give it another chance from a bottle. The aroma is empty and minor with strange hops. Flavors were sweet and maybe overly done with the malt because this tasted like a malt mess with hops added into it. I really ask why did they choose to bottle this?

650 ml bottle from Beverages4less. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with some floaties. The head is small and white and soon recedes to a fine film. The aroma is very weak with a hint of citrus and not much else. The flavor is subtle and complex with oranges, coriander, walnuts, biscuit, English style hopping and sweet malts. The mouthfeel is light and crisp with lively carbonation. Overall: This would make a great summer brew. It is a bit better than the ratings here would suggest, its not a big beer, so its not gonna get the big numbers, but it certainly is a well crafted one.

(11/5/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Coronado. Hazy pale yellow-orange color, served with a slice of orange. Aroma of some orange, spiciness and wheat. Sweetish flavor with hints of acidity, oranges, coriander and some yeast and fruits. Light-bodied.
