Draft at San Diego Brewing Company. Some orange and caramel aromas off this reddish brown ale with a small head. Flavors were more orange and sweet malts. Somewhat of an amber ale finish. Just Okay.

On tap @ Hamilton’s Tavern. Pours a light straw yellow, with a small white head. Nose was lightly wheaty and slightly fruity. Not sure why this is in the ’’Fruit Beer’’ category.

Fruit Beer? Not really sure of that. On tap at Coronado. Poured a dull, ruddy gold. Aroma of malt/wheat?, with a bit of fruit and spice, but I might be being generous with a bit. Flavor was fine, but just boring. Malty with a slight citrus/orange/spice presence. Drinkable, but definitely not memorable.

Draft (served with an orange wedge)… RBSG ’08… Lightly hazed, straw-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Sweet, fruity nose with a notation of orange blossom honey. Light to medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. The flavor is very well balanced and, much like the aroma, provides fruity notes with a touch of orange blossom honey. Lightly bitter finish.

On tap at Newport Pizza and Ale house. Pours a rusty gold hue with a very quick diminishing white head. Nose is kinda a light lemon grass, grain. Flavor is very light with a decent malt presence but not a whole lot more to it. Seem like this would make for a pretty good session beer, but all and all it was just ok to me~

On-tap at Downtown Johnny Brown’s. Pours cloudy light orange with a thin, crisp, white head, some lace. Smells faintly grainy. Tastes light and grainy and malty, slightly earthy hoppy and a touch of orangey citrus towards the finish. Medium body, vibrant carbonation.

Tap @ Hamilton’s shared with a friend on my bday. Listed as a spiced pale ale. Pours golden with a bright white ring. Nose is spiece. Taste is spiced and overall good.

On tap at Coronado Brewery--Light hazy orange-straw body. Served with an orange slice. Tiny bubbly head. Bready, yeasty American hefe nose. Crisp, clean and grainy finish. Quite good. Sweet honey creaminess w/ coriander and orange zest. Finished a little high on the carbonation levels. Harsh on tongue.
