Commercial Description:
The Red Devil is a double dose of our "Mermaid's Red Ale. We simply doubled the ingredients (double the malt, double the hops) and created an award winning Ale. An incredibly balanced and smooth beer with a strong finish.

Dark red brown with decent tan head. Big caramel nose with hint of hops. Heavy roast flavor with a bite of grapefruit. A lot of warmth from the high alcohol and good bitter finish.

Bottle shared by wolf at SL. Dark red in color, small head that faded quickly. malty aroma... Taste is terrible..... Sweet, way to malty, not balanced at all. I have never liked red ales and this wont change my mind

Bottled. An unclear dark amber beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of hops as well as grass and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, grapefruit, and grass, leading to a very bitter finish. The body is on the light side.

Another old rating. A nice light hop aroma and caramel flavor. Had a solid bitterness and some fruit flavor coming through. THe flavor was pretty potent at the end.

Aroma of toast and sweet caramel that you could smell without even putting your nose in the class. Murcky read body with tan head. Left a blanket of lacing on the pint glass. Good mix of caramel malts and chocolate with a thicker body texture. Smooth on the palate. An enjoyable beer.
