On draft at O’Briens. Arrives in the glass an ebony color, totally opaque with a thin tan head. Aroma is roasty, with figs, molasses, brown sugar and dark chocolate. Flavor of prune juice, roast, bitter chocolate milk, floral notes and noticible alcohol. Full body, smooth and soft with very gentle carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. Pours dark brown almost black. A thin, creamy tan head left decent lacing. Lots of chocolate, toffee, caramel and toasted malt accounted for most of the aromas and flavors.

On-tap at Downtown Johnny Brown’s. Pours fizzy looking dark, chocolatey brown with a crisp but resilient brown head. Smells mellow dark, chocolatey malty, slightly roasty. Taste is sweet roasty malt followed quickly by a bitter coffee ground and very toasty chocolatey malt flavor. Body is full and surprisingly smooth, carbonation is mellow.

Dark brown. Roasty nose, lots of coffee and a bit of nuts. Very rich, but not quite impy rich, just dark chocolate, coffee and nuts.

Tap @ brewpub. Spelled "Stoopid," as others have noticed...Licorice beginning with roasty element in nose and in the back of the tongue, end of the palate. As with all the Coronados, has a killer palate that melds quaffability with body.
