Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com) As I recall, this was a very tasty beer.

Pours golden yellow with big white head. Aromas of dough, fruit and yeast. Flavor starts sweet and malty and finishes fruity and slightly hoppy. Somewhat dry with a slight metallic taste. Medium body with lively carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Decent but not great.

bottle at a tea house in bruges. nice rocky head, some lacing, hides alcohol well. Actually my favorite tripel so far because it wasn’t overpowering. Better balanced than most.

Bottled. Cork marked No. 752, dated best before 14/03/09. Poured clear and golden with a fizzy, white head. Lots of bubbles. Nose is yeast, fruit (lemons), and a hint of cloves. Flavor was a malty sweetness balanced by a tart finish. Flavors were yeasty, fruity, lemon, pears, and a hint of alcohol. Finish was nicely dry and the mouthfeel was nicely carbonated with a champagne-like feel.

Courtesy of Total Wine. Pours a murky, swampy, dark golden color with 1.5 inches of off-white head that reduces to pillows of froth. Nose is sour yeast. Flavors include wheat, yeast, biscuits, and slight metal in the finish. Lively carbonation and medium body. Generic in flavor, but still good.

Metallic aroma. Ubiquitous pale yellow american beer color with just a touch of haze once you get near the bottom of the bottle. Volatile dizzying initial impact inside the mouth. Much more than I expected in the alky flavors department. Nice carbonation thru out the session. For some reason, reminds me of Chimay Blue. I think I’ll stick to Corsey Brown. A little crestfallen over this bottle.

Bottle - 330ml. Pours a beautiful hazy golden body topped with a huge frothy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma that carries fruity/citric and spicy hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries apple, spicy, coriander, and citrusy notes. It ends with a long bitter/sour finish. Love it!

Weak bubbly head over a crystral clear beer with bubbles and a burnt sienna colour. Nice! Citric, yeasty aroma. Fruity, wholesome with hints of spices - cumin. Fresh flavour, bitter-sour. Well balanced with a subtle sweetness. Hints of banana, apple and pear. Citric-dry champagne-like palate. Bitter but fresh aftertaste. Very subtle hints of coffee, maybe even dark chocolate.
