Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

It reminds me of champagne from the beginning, the bottle, the corking, the pour... I was hoping for more hops. Vanilla fruit aroma. Yeasty flavors. Good beer... but not the classic I was hoping for.

Bottle. Pours a nice gold color with a generous white head and tons of sediment. Aroma is cirtus up front with notes of vanilla, coriander, and malt. Taste is malt and vanilla up front, finishing tart with noticeable citrus, coriander, and bready notes. Mouthfeel is very light and airy, especially for typically-heavy tripels. A very pleasant beer.

Bottle. Pours a pale golden yellowwith big white head into my corsendonk glass. Aroma is citric and faintly fruity with some malts and perfume. Flavor is initially sweet, then citric tartness fading to dry and very perfumy finish with hints of spice and pepper. A yeastiness is there beginning to end, along with notes of wheat. Super fine and extremely active carbonation make for a light mouthfeel as the liquid nearly disapears before being swallowed. Long perfumy hoppy aftertaste with a subdued but noticable alcohol presence. Very pleasant.

330ml brown bottle. Pale gold colour. Compact white head, creamy texture, slightly rock, settles to a very fine white layer on the surface. Aroma of raisins, light citrus, and slight floral hoppiness. Taste is honey apple and malt, but the sweetness is dried well with spices and hops. Aftertaste is slight wheat, bubblegum and alcohol. A decent abbey tripel, would love to try it on tap.

Bottle/tap? Muddy brown/yellow body. Fine white head. Very light aroma. Hard to tell what it is. Pleasant flavour. Well balanced, not too bad, really, but not very exciting? (I de gamle gode tider, Brüssel, 15.12.07)

Bottle has lots of yeast sediment all over the bottom of the bottle. Pours a yellow pale color with a medium sized fizzy head. Smells sour and wheat like. Tastes like cracker jacks. Poured the rest of the yeast, and then it taste totally different. More like bread and a weak tripel. Hmm not so sure about this one. Especially because I think it is past prime.

you’re perty, gold, big head, light banana softness, a bit bitter (skunked botlle?) i think you’d be better fresh

Slightly hazy gold with thick head. Apricot, pear, banana, clove all noted in the nose and taste. Finishes dry and slightly bitter.
