Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

Aroma feels very fresh, withe some citrus and spicy fruits from the yeast. A very balanced flavor/palette but with some acidity.

bottle at Undertow in Vero Beach, FL. quite tasty. lots of citrus, and a bit of hops in here. a very good tripel style brew... kind of typical for the style, but very drinkable and solid. pours a nice golden, litte head on my pour, aroma lacking anything special. tastes quite nice with a tad bit of hops and full of citrus as described before. very good, but not the best tripel by far.

I’m still not poncey enough to pick out aroma or flavour properly and let you know the ingredients. That’s half the fun, I might be the only guy on this site who doesn’t give the drink away for you. Lovely and clean tasting. i like this, very drinkable. Good and really enjoyed it, just a bit bland on smell for an amazing rating. Nice. Go and have one.

A Mes rate: bottle from Quinns.
Got this for Nick while watching Manu slap Derby. Was quite surprised to find I had not rated it. Nice orange gold with plenty of fizz. Head settled quickly to virtually nothing. Straight Belgian tripel aroma with with a slight sweetness and not the usual over the top yeasty notes. Flavour is again standard stuff with slight straw and wheat notes. Clean and very drinkable. Nice beer.

750ml bottle. So lively it pushes the cork out itself - make sure you have an overflow glass to hand just in case. Thick creamy white head sits for ever above a clear pale orange champagne-lively body. Massively dry hoppy aroma, spicey and heading towards apricot. Hints to a lightly roasted malt body come through in the aroma too. In the mouth it’s very soft, the carbonation is perfect, it isn’t harsh at all. The first taste on swallowing was a gently light malt, but there’s an amazing subtle resiny hoppy bitterness that’s left behind, which maybe takes a minute before it becomes dominant, and then just continues for ever. No hint of alcohol at all.

12 ounce bottle in Duvel glass. Pale clear golden orange with ring head no lace. Mild citrus yeast and sugar aroma. Mild honey orange apricot sweetness with very mild bitterness and spicyness in finish. Medium-light body and medium carbo. Slightly watery. Not very complex. An acceptable beer because I like this style, but not an especially exciting one.

Nice beer here. Cloudy golden pour. Quite a bit of carbonation also. One of the more persistent heads I’ve ever seen, reminded me of the Duvel. Spicy, hoppy aroma with a little bit of skunkiness thrown in as well. Starts out spicy and mellows with a nice dry finish. Alcohol becomes more prevalent as it warms. Nice tripel.
