Taste straight up reminds me of the pater, similar yeasty sweetness, peppery and spicey again, noteable alcohol. heavy (835), Split, Croatia

Very nice fruity aroma dominated by banana and cloves, with some citrus notes. Flavor typical tripel bittersweet, inclining to sweet. Quite fruity and spicy, pretty much following the aroma. Light bodied for the style though... Quite carbonated, with nice, long finish, which is pleasantly fruity sweetish. Quite good tripel and very good beer. RiverHorse (454), New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Nov 24, 2007 Pours a hazy golden color into the trappist glass. There was a huge fluffy white head that quickly dissapated into a small quarter inch head. Lacing clung tightly to the sides of the glass. A quick scent of grass, citrus and yeast invite you to sip. Tastes of spices, malt, citrus and some funk. A nice quenching tripel that leaves a slight metallic aftertaste. clueo (112), Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 17, 2007 Poured a murky yellow with a huge head. Smelled of lemons and bananas. Tasted the same but with funk and sour thrown in, no hops that I could find. Very watery with lots of carbonation, taste luckily didn’t linger. Not good for this style. french tickler (642), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

Aromas of lemon zest, orange zest, coriander, green bananas, sweet bread and meringue. Medium body with a tangy feel. Long bitter mouthfeel with a zesty finish. Medium-heavy carbonation. Citrusy flavors... MagnusVMagnum (43), USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 3, 2007 Excellent beer. It reminds me a lot of Delirium Nocturnum, which is a good thing. Some spicy notes with hints of fruit. Less alcohol than I’m used to from Belgium brews, but very easy to drink.

Aroma of green apples, a hint of bubblegum and yeast. In the mouth it’s sharply carbonated and slightly watery. The taste is a bit sweet, with some fruit notes, mostly grape. Goes down easy. Good brew.
