Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

Nice pour with a golden color and a great fruity smell. Wonderful to watch it settle slowly. Great taste with a citus aftertaste. A wonderful beer!

Poured a murky yellow with a huge head. Smelled of lemons and bananas. Tasted the same but with funk and sour thrown in, no hops that I could find. Very watery with lots of carbonation, taste luckily didn’t linger. Not good for this style.

Very bubbly clear golden poor with a thick foamy white head. Aromas of lemon zest, orange zest, coriander, green bananas, sweet bread and meringue. Medium body with a tangy feel. Long bitter mouthfeel with a zesty finish. Medium-heavy carbonation. Citrusy flavors...

Excellent beer. It reminds me a lot of Delirium Nocturnum, which is a good thing. Some spicy notes with hints of fruit. Less alcohol than I’m used to from Belgium brews, but very easy to drink.

Pours clear golden with a big white head. Aroma of green apples, a hint of bubblegum and yeast. In the mouth it’s sharply carbonated and slightly watery. The taste is a bit sweet, with some fruit notes, mostly grape. Goes down easy. Good brew.

(bottle BB 12/01/08): Pours a very watery pale yellow color, humungous white frothy head, somewhat lasting. Aroma of very light flowers, straw, sweet. Somewhat musky aroma. Not strong. Grape and light sweet fruit smell, some malt. Grape fizzy musky tastej grapeskins, floral. Soft mouthfeel. A little warming Kinda bland. Better as it wams.

Bottle at Carr’s Restaurant, Lancaster, PA...I had had the brown a week earlier and enjoyed it so I was up for another Corsendonk offering...pours a vibrant yellow-gold color with a tall white head...aroma was that of floral and mild spice...taste was of clove, banana, some hops...surprisingly creamy mouthfeel...I’ve mentioned before that I’m not a huge fan of this flavor but this one was not bad...a decent easy drinking beer.
