Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

Aroma of spicey fruit and flowers. Hazy golden color and a white head that tried to last. Medium body with fizzy, creamy, carbonation. The flavor is yeast, bread, citrus fruit, and candi. Not all that sweet, however. The finish is mildly sweet, with some floral, herbal aspects. Not at all bitter. Clean and refreshing indeed. Quite pleasant.

More bland than some tripels. Some cloud to the straw color. Aroma and taste were all spicy yeast, with no hops.

Aroma is a light fruity yeast scent. Color is a pale gold with a slight haze. Carbonation is very good with a tight white head. Taste is light, sweet and creamy. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a very smooth and creamy feel. Finish comes in with a mellow sweet malt flavor that has caramel tones to it and then a good fruity yeast flavor backed by faint citrus and spice flavors that build in the after taste. This is a very good, well balanced Belgian style ale.

355ml Bottle: Pours a dull gold with lots of cascading carbonation and a thick, full white head. Lemon, roses, floral honey, doughy bread make up the scrumptious nose. The body is also tart with lemon and apple notes. Light honey malt notes balance the splash of esthers. It does break apart initially due to the spritzy carbonation, but settles down considerable as it warms. Lots of caramel and honey malt notes emerge as well. A very nice beer.

Medium white lasting head. Yellow body with powerful carbonation, and, thanks to the barman, floating yeast flakes. Sharpish spicy soft metal aroma with faint yeasty notes. Dry sharpish peppery yeasty fruity taste with mealy notes. Very harmonic and focused. Dry, faintly herbal aftertaste. Nice, but not outstanding. (0.33l bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger.)

12 oz bottle...Golden cloudy hue with white frothy head, big particles of yeast, no lacing, smells of banana, clove and corriander, nice spice, lively big carbonation, light citrus hops, compares well with other Tripels.

0.75 l bottle. Slighly hazy deep golden color with creamy head. Parfumy, fruity and clovey aroma. Dryer flavor with clove, tart fruitiness and wood. Woody and bitter finish. Highly carbonated.
