Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

Schiuma aderente, colore biondo leggermente velato. Profumo intenso, eleganto: agrumi e crosta di pane. In bocca prevale il malto, gusto secco con note luppolate in finale.

bottle. Poured hazy pale yellow with a large white head. Active carbonation visable in glass. Perfumy citrus aroma. Prickly dry mouthfeel. Citric-yeasty flavour. Finishes dry with light alcohol.

ehhh, not bad. i like the brown ale much better but this stuff is no slouch. for some reason i think corsendonk has terrible smelling beer and this is no different. i get whiffs of stale bread, farms in the midwest, and 70 year old women. tastes pretty good though, a little overly floral with hints of hops and some belgian spice. ends very dry and leaves me almost confused on the actual taste. in the end, ive drank it before and im sure i will drink it again.

On tap in a tulip. This was the last glass in the keg, and they had to work for it. I’m not sure if it was a fair sample, as it was rather flat. Cloudy and orangeish with a soapy white head that lasts a long time... just like I like head. The aroma is esters and biscuit. The flavor is esters, citrus, and baked bread.

Pours a clear gold color with a medium white head. Aroma of spices and some flowers, and some hops. Flavors are fruity, spicey and hoppy, with high carbonation feel in mouth and quite bitter. Dry and spicy ending. Lots of strong flavors, a great beer.

750 ml. bottle. Pours a huge white head, with light floating lacing, over a slightly cloudy, pale yellow (SRM 5) body....nose has multiple spices, including clove, coriander, allspice, bit of cereal, fruits, including apple and pineapple....taste initially dry then spice flavors (including clove and some pepper) come in finishing with light bitterness....mouth feel is fairly light, carbonation medium. This is a reasonably typical member of the style, which I find quite delicious and refreshing.

Bottle. Golden colour with small white head. Smells fruity, flavour is malt, spices and fruit and a little bitterness. Easy drinkable, but not my favourite.

Pour is light straw with a thick white head. Head settles slowly with little lacing. Bottle smells strongly of yeast (baking bread). Nose in the glass is a fruit salad, lime, pineapple, apple, and lemon. Taste is tangy sour with a slight sweetness and a light bitterness which lingers. Feel is soft and gentle and coats nicely.
