Although I can appreciate this beer’s quality, its just not one of my favorites. There are much better beers out there to spend your hard earned money on. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Huge, fluffy white head that is long lasting. Body is dark yellow and murky with lots of particles. The nose is moderately spicy with notes of clove and coriander, lightly hoppy with notes of flowers and lemon, and lightly malty with notes of grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Moderately acidic. Medium body and smooth mouthfeel despite the active carbonation. The spice in this beer made it taste like something between a golden or a wit and a tripel. mistersinalin (378), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 16, 2007 A typical Belgian tripel. It is nice and yeasty without too much earthworm. I needed a beer to crack the writers block I was experiencing. I like this beer very much. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 15, 2007 I wasn’t too impressed with this one. Golden pour releases a storm of carbonation and a creamy thick white head. Musty Belgian the dominant aroma, also shows a slight sweetness. The flavor is also mostly Belgian, typical sourness, not very much alcohol. A bit sweet. The palate is smooth with smooth soft carbonation. Crafty07 (393), Florence, Kentucky, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 13, 2007 Deserving of the critical site’s high rating. What I like about this tripel is that it defies strict defintion and does NOT have an alcohol note that is overpowering. I poured this from a 12oz bottle that must have been disturbed a bit as the fizzy white head was ridiculously excessive.
The only thing that keeps this fine ale from being top rated is its exorbitant price tag. Sitll, excellent beer. DeadGuyFrank (347), http://westchesterbeer.com, USA

Dry and very drinkable and of high quality. One of my favorites. stouby (1950), Holbaek, Denmark
