Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

Brugge. Belgian Tripel, has an unusual flavor of pear. Soft, cooling, final candy, fruity and astringent........................................ Tripel belga, sobressai um inusitado sabor de pêra. Suave, refrescante, final doce, frutado e adstringente.

Typical beligian style - with some spice, and sweetness. The aftertaste is a bit below average. Not special, but nice.

Pours out with a big white head and light gold color. The bubbles of the head are big and makes the head look really frothy. Aroma is citrusy with just a little touch of hops. Taste is medium bodied and smooth. Very clean, but is sneaky strong. A classic.

Another fave overlooked at rating time. Golden with a big white head. Lovely crisp yeast and citrus vanilla aroma. Yeasty with spicy corriander and orange zest notes. Slightly salty and bitter as swallowed with a yeasty finish. Medium bodied and highly carbonated...a good anytime beer...

Pours a nice golden color with a thick white head that lasts. Has a sweet almost champagne like taste to it but not too carbonated. I enjoyed this one very much.

Bottle. High and creamy long lasting light brown head. Hazy red brown body (guess is should have been golden but it isnt(, Sweet berries aroma with nuts and spices. First impression is that it has a astonishingly high carbonation. Otherwise it is bittersweet with berries flavor and some bitterness. Would not have guessed the acohold percentage.

The aroma is rich with yeast, hops, bread, fruit, and spices. The appearance is pale gold with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma and quite bitter. The palate is typical for the style. This is a good beer but not earth shatteringly good.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a large white head that lasts leaving good lacing. Aroma of light citrus, sweet malt, and light floral hops. Taste is the same as aroma with hints of pear and light yeast spice. Medium mouthfeel that finishes dry with a mild bitteress. A very good Tripel.
