Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

Bottle at home. A wonderful Tripel. I poured it slightly, creating a thin head. Lots of bubbles in apple colour. Hoppy and mini pricks on the tongue. Nice taste at the end. Really enjoyable. Class act. I also got the pater for comparison’s sake.

Bottle, best before 04/07/08. Hazy, light honey-peach color with medium, lasting white head and some yeast particles in suspension. Aroma is orange-apple with mulling spices. Taste is honey apple and malt, but the sweetness is dried well with spices and hops. Aftertaste is slight wheat, bubblegum and alcohol. Body is light and airy. Nice beer, but alcohol is a bit harsh for only 7.5%.

Bottle sampled at Cellars Wine & Spirits Friday Evening Beer Tasting. This beer pours a clear deep golden yellow with a foamy white head. Head is compact and slowly dissolves. Aroma has sweet sour malt with fermented wheat. Other aromas include sour apples and wheat bread. The carbonation is very high with small bubbles. The flavor is a bit sour and wheat. with a dry finish.

Long ago, I thought little of this beer. Now, my mind is changed. Aroma is a little bit dry. Taste has some fruitiness and malt characters, but almost no hints of alcohol or strength at all. Some light spiciness.

Golden, smooth fizzy champagne-like head. Fruity, citric. More dry than sweet. Actually not much sweetness at all. Some yeastiness, but not witbier-like. Good exploding mouthfeel.

The beer gives you a head of fluffiness and a body of goldenness. The head descends faster than do the heads of other tripels that I have drank. Lovely standard Tripel smell... Carbonated front with some bitter fruitiness. Not sweet at all, but light and spicy and citrusy. Kind of dry at some parts too, especially in the finish and in the aftertaste. There is just a tinge of alcohol, but one would barely bother to notice it.
