Couldn’t wait to get out of the bottle - huge head that exploded into the tulip. Laced very nicely. Held to the light, there is a ton of floating filament. Deep honey golden color - a really pretty and exciting belgian. Very malty, yeasty flavor. Malt flavor lingers. Clean and balanced. Very good - I’ll try again. jeremytoni (1127), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 27, 2007 Bottle. amber color, medium, longer lasting head. I enjoyed the aroma of this one, and I have to say that the finish leaves my sweet-tooth wanting more. In my opinion, far superior to domestic copies like Blue Moon. Quite dry and clean. It doesn’t sit on the tongue, which I appreciated. Sigmund (2301), Hafrsfjord, Norway

Courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Very pale clear golden colour, huge head. Sweetish and fruity aroma, both fresh and fermenting fruits, slightly yeasty, hints of spices. Flavour is moderately sweet and spicy, there’s an unusual element of saltiness / sea water. Light bodied for its strength, but the alcohol is noticeable. Low bitterness.
