Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

33cl bottle bought in Belgium, pours beautifully clear - gold with a medium-tight white head, and a scent of hops, malt, pepper, hints of apples and peaches. Clean dry taste yet solid-bodied, malty and hoppy, crisp dry citric aftertaste with a little lingering bitterness.

bottle @ home. I’m starting to love Corsendonk. The Pater (Dubbel) was great and this one is also very tasty. Not a big Tripel fan but this one had a better taste than the other Tripel’s I had. Great aroma with fruity, spicey taste. Will try this one again!

.3L - $7.00 served up in the appropriate Corsendonk glassware at the Brick Store Pub in Decatur, Georgia. Appearance: Clear, golden-orange body with a frothy, white head. Smell: Pleasant, inviting aroma of sweet-scented honey, ground peppery spices, chilled fruit juices, and flowers. Taste: Honeyish candy quality with a light, light touch of breadiness. Fruity, juicy blend of fresh pears and apricots. Meager dusting of earthy spices. Light, understated bitterness. Soft floral tones throughout. Serves up a teaspoon of fruit puree on the drying, lightly crisp finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation. Delicate stickiness to the overall mouthfeel. Drinkability: Who knew beers named after old ladies could be so lively, so spry, so invigorating. Not me!

Slightly hazy gold in colour with a moderate white head and lively carbonation. Aroma of citrus fruit, pears, yeast and candy sugar. Flavour was sweet, with some spice, more fruit and a decent dry finish. Very good.
