Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

12 oz bottle best before 04/0708. Spicey coiander and clove aromas. Cloudy gold body with decent white head. Flavor was fruity with a vanilla mix to some spice. Nice brew but makes the eyes little heavy.

Nice golden pour with that foamy head that lasts. Aroma was floral and some fruit as well. Tasted sharp with citris and some mild spice. Finished tart with hints of hop. Good stuff

Huge white foamy head. Aroma of raisins, light citrus, and slight floral hoppiness. Not very original but a solid abbery ale. A little spicey but not enought to make this unique. The slight corn flavor doesnt do it for me. Fizzy carbonation.

355ml bottle: Poured with the promised giant head of white foam. My bottle was extremely sedimented. Light and airy aroma, not undifferent from a European pilsner. Lightly spicy palate , but not as flavored as I’d thought. Disappointingly bland. (#2639 - 1/7/07)

Cloudy yellow with a big head. Sweet fruity aroma. Fruity, citric start that leads to a fuller malty finish. No hint of alcohol. Impressive!

Clear golden colour with a big offwhite head. Fruity, apple aroma, sweet. Flavours are well-balanced. Sweet fruitiness with appropriate bitterness and some spices. Medium body. Quite alright.

Bottle. My sister Anne brought me this one for Christmas 2006. Nose is pure Belgian with yeast, spice, sourness, sweetness, smells great! The head doesn’t last long and the beer is clear and golden, probably a little darker than I thought it would be. If I hadn’t slowed the pour late, I would have had lots of chunks, but it stayed pretty clean. First taste is good, with a bit of sweetness and spiciness, but it finishes into a metallic taste that is not pleasant. Body is nice as this is much more viscous than I had anticipated. The metallic finish leaves after my palate gets acclimated and it becomes a tasty quaff with a decent full carbonation and an enjoyable overall experience. A bit overrated, but OK.
