Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

From C&C 750. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with diminishing white head. Nose is lightly fruity with a nice spicy yeast. Body is slightly syrupy, as is the taste, with light fruits, pear and citrus mix.

Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a moderate sized ivory head. Aroma is of sweet malt, strong yeast, and light citrus. Really nice taste of sweet malt, prominent yeast, light citrus and tangy hops with good carbonation. A short but sweet ending. Very champagne-like. I enjoyed this ale with Volgon and Balthazar...along with many more!

When poured I was impressed by the golden sparkling color, crisp hops with a clean taste. LyndaNova is right... nice yeast aroma and taste. This maybe the king of pale ales. I’d even pass on a bad beer for this one... or 1/2 of it.

Pours a pale golden with nice lively thick white head. Thick fruity aroma, a bit appleish and yeasty. The flavor has a nice upfront earthy dryness, and a toffeeish character, which meshes well with the consistant, slightly piney aspect. A touch of honeyish nuttyness. The dryness is fully present, but balanced perfectly. Yeasty and lively, nice.

Pale yellow ale with sediment and big white fluffy head. Aroma is yeasty, fruity, with a whiff of Saaz. The flavor is great, spicy, banana, pear, curango orange. Really smooth. Very mellow for this style. This is the best Tripel I have sampled.

Dark yellow colored, plenty of obvious yeast in appearance. Little white lasting head. Fruits, banana, yeast, spices and mild alcohol in good aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is more spicy with some licorice and spices, mild alcohol, yeast and fruits there also. Aftertaste has spicy touch with dryness and some alcohol.

Pours a yellow gold with a huge billowy white head. Nose of yeast, spices and earthy note. A champagne-like dryness with flavors of bubblegum, a peppery spicyness and smooth alcohol warmth. Slight balancing bitter in the finish. Very good!!
