Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

Much head that stays with the brew. Fruity tones meld with balanced hop taste. Slightly oily and refreshing.

Best before 15/02/08. Pours bright gold into a tulip. Fluffy white micro head slowly recedes leaving no lacing. Lemon, floral and leather notes. Bubbly; slightly bitter with a dry, lingering finish. Feel the alcohol more than taste it...

Bottle. The aroma really didn’t do it for me. Nothing outstanding as I would expect. Very active personality, great head. Flavor is a bit sweet at first but mellows out as it warms. At first I didn’t see how it was an abbey tripel but later on the flavor exposed it. A good ale. Cheers!

Orange gold in colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma of yeast, lemon, oranges and some sweetness. Flavour was smooth, soft, yeasty and lots of citrus. Finishes with a mild bitterness

Very large retaining foamy suds head. Pours with golden straw look, and doesn’t lend a great first read. This is, though, where the stereotype ends. The nose is of clove and melony citrus. A sweet cantaloupe starts upfront, with a mid-pull of citric tart, finishing cleanly dry-hopped. This is quite good. It especially goes well in spring/summer, as it quenches the palate well, but leaves crisply. A perfect session brew. Doesn’t feel heavy in any way.

Golden orange amber with floating chunks. Citrus sweet smell, lead straight into its sour citrus taste. Leaves a very dry taste afterwards.

750 ml from Glenville Beverage. Clear yellow, way clearer than I thought. Typical belgian aroma, fruity, malty, spicy, a little sweet and alcoolic. Medium to full body. Flavor is citrus, fruity, pretty sweet. A lot of carbonation. Another good belgian.

Mondial de la Bière de Montréal; Pale yellow color with many residue inside (this is a proof of quality), malty aroma and flavor with just the good level of bitterness.
