| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 21, 2006 Big white head that lingers. Aroma is surprisingly very lemony. Yeasty flavors dominate, with malt, and a fair amount of bitterness also present. Finish is clean and dry. outerupt (133), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 21, 2006 Pours a vigorous white head with a fairly lame pale colour. Nice soft carbonation and a beautiful nose of lemons and clove. The flavour is simply disappointing as though it were a watered down version of a blonde or a more serious tripel blended with Pabst. The anticipation from the nose served as a letdown on the palate. On the flipside it is extremely drinkable. BeerandBlues2 (3230), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 19, 2006 750 mL bottle, BBE Sept ’05, lot no. 131484. Pours pale yellow/gold with a medium foamy white head, bubbles seem to have a little difficulty rising as if the beer is too much for them, lined/banded lacing. Yeast (barn, earthy), oak, and light malt (meal, straw) aromas with a fruity hop bouquet in the mix and a yeasty nose. Buttery yeast and malt flavor, heavily fizzy, moderately bitter and acidic, finish is chalky and hoppy. Light to medium bodied, fizzy and spicy palate that dries out at the end. beeryum (652), Norcross, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 16, 2006 Notes from a couple different tastings, including Decatur Beerfest 05. Golden yellow pour, big head. Light caramel malty flavors, with nice touches of lighter fruits - lemon and maybe banana, and maybe something grassy / straw-like. Dry finish - fairly nice beer. awebster (165), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 13, 2006 It’s like aged Duvel without the bite--very smooth for a tripel, almost too smooth, and for this reason, I don’t see why they don’t try to push for a higher ABV. But if I were in the mood for a blonde and had to choose between this and Duvel, I’d go with Corsendonk, unless the Duvel were aged well enough. This assumption will have to be tested, though.
