Commercial Description:
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

nose: that’s a sharp citrus rind. and fermented yeast. Taste and palate surprisingly hoppy, lemony , reminiscent of witbier or hefeweissen. nice golden body and lasting, fine head. quite carbonated (creamily) in the mouth. finish is modest and lemony coriander. Enjoyable, but, not so distinctive. please pass the corsendonk pater over next!

Pours a bright golden yellow color. Aromas of hops, fruit, and a little yeast. Has a light lemony taste, with some yeastynotes, and a good hop flavor.

1 pint bottle. Light golden color with a medium fine head. Fruity pear aroma. Fizzy clean platate. A bit of an alchol aftertaste. Very refreshing.

Pours dark golden with a nice white lasting head. Perfumed aroma of hops, fruit, yeast and lemon. Rather hoppy flavour with citrus and oranges and notes of coriander. Creamy texture. Medium-bodied. Long hoppy/ dry finish. More sour than expected, but a very interesting beer.

Tons and tons of head, as advertised. Some citrusy sweetness, but overall dry. Some of a lambic like sourness. Light and very effervescent. Both the color and the flavor remind me of lemons. Has some of that interesting funkiness that comes from belgian yeast. Very refreshing, enjoyable and undeniably belgian.

Pleasant, smooth, but something is lacking anyway. Didn’t have a very big head as the description read, indeed nice on the palate, mixed fruity flavours, no bitterness. Nice aftertaste but anyway I was kinda disappointed after all the hype. Still a very good brew, but I can’t give it more than 3.5. Maybe got some odd bottle.

Bottle. Sweet apple-lemon malt aroma with light hops. Orange-yellow color with large lacy head. Smooth sweet lemon and light apple flavor with light hops and alcohol finish. A great tripel that I could drink anytime - extremely smooth and well balanced.

Paid $5.99 for a 750-ml corked bottle at World Market, Charlottesville. Pale, cloudy golden with a ginormous white head. Sweet aroma filled with lemon and other citrus and some floral perfumes. Nice, laid-back flavor with some banana, dried flowers, and some slight lemony residue. No hint of alcohol anywhere... this is nice and smooth.
